  1. Can we leave the hose on all the time, even when the engine is operating?

    Should I mount on this hose only in oil change or I can leave it on all the time, just replacing the original drain plug. I don't know if the hose can stand the high temperature oil when the engine is in operating. If this is only mounted in oil change, then there still will be some oil messy, no matter how fast you do the switch from drain plug to this drain hose. (Yes, I agree definitely better than nothing.)

    1. I have been using this on my Cub Cadet ST-100. It is mounted all the time and I have had no problems. Just make sure the end is hooked into the tab provided to keep the hose out of the way of moving parts.

    2. The Drainzit oil drain hose can be left on all the time. Once the oil is completely drained, replace the rubber stopper and retainer strap and you’re done.

    3. I have one. It is meant to permanently replace the drain plug.

    4. You leave the hose attached all the time. It replaces the drain plug. What would be the point of pulling the plug and letting oil run everywhere while you try and screw this thing in?

    My Powerhorse chipper has an M10x1.25 drain plug. Will this Drainzit fit?

  3. Will this fit the drain hole on a Honda HS520 snowblower?

    1. The drainzit oil drain hose fits the Honda GX110, GX120, GX160, GX200 and Kohler CS4, CS6 engines. It would not fit the engine on the Honda HS520 as it has a GC160 engine.
