The Honda 163cc GX Series OHV commercial-grade engine is designed for use on pumps used in demanding applications. NOTE: Engine does not fit power equipment. It has set an industry standard for reliability and durability. Overhead valve design offers cooler, fuel-efficient operation and cast iron cylinder sleeve provides longer service life. The GX is reliable, easy starting and quiet running. Meets EPA and CARB emission levels standards. This legendary engine has earned the reputation as the preferred engine for pumps. Its most common application is for non-Honda water pumps; ideal for US made centrifugal pumps.

  2. Why is the shaft not got a keyway cut in it how are you supposed to hook it to anything

    1. This is a T type shaft. The shaft will be a 5/8"-18 UNF threaded shaft.

    1. Northern Tool would not offer a pulley for the shaft on this engine.

    1. This engine does not have gear reduction. See item #60596 that has a 6:1 gear reduction and item 60593 that has a 2:1 gear reduction.
