  1. Can an extension hose be added?

    1. I would not; extending hose will probably cause a reduction of pressure therefore reducing satisfaction of work quality; get your air pressure supply as close to the work as safely as possible.

    2. An extension hose could not be added to the pressure blaster. To use a longer hose could compromise the integrity of the blaster.

  2. What type/size air compressor would be recommended to use with this product?

    1. Read the specs; it says:"Air consumption is 6 CFM @ 60 PSI; 25 CFM @ 125 PSI
      125 PSI maximum air pressure for powerful blasting results
      1/4in.– 18 NPT air inlet
      Operates at 60–125 PSI
      Requires 3/8in. or larger air hose

    2. This blaster requires a compressor with a minimum output of 6 CFM @ 60 PSI. For jobs or applications that require a higher PSI output (up to 125 PSI maximum), it could require a compressor rated up to 25 CFM @ 125 PSI. The compressor CFM/PSI rating you need ultimately depends on the type of blasting you are doing and also the blast media you are using.     1. The abrasive pressure blaster is unable to be run with a pancake compressor. The CFM and PSI requirement for the abrasive blaster is to large for a pancake compressor.

  4. What at components come with the blaster when you purchase it anD what extras do I still need to purchase

    1. The blaster would include the hose and nozzle and funnel. You would need an air compressor that can do 6-25 CFM and 60-125 PSI, the media for the job you are doing and protective clothing.

  6. Can I use fine course sand in the blaster.

    1. The abrasive blaster is designed to be used with silica, silicon carbide and aluminum oxide abrasives. It is able to be used with fine-course abrasives. You will need to adjust the tip per abrasive and grit used.

    1. This abrasive blaster will take rust off the bottom of the truck and remove undercoat based on the size of the compressor you would use.

  8. I need to remove stain from a half log siding cabin. What type of median blast would you recommend? Would this unit be appropriate.

    1. Glass bead or crushed glass is recommended to be used to remove stain from log siding. The model 98030 is not recommended to be used with glass media.
