  1. What size compressor is need to maximize the efficiency of this unit?

    1. The abrasive blaster is designed to operate between 50–110 PSI at 7 CFM. Pressures of no more than 70 PSI is recommended for the etching of glass or plastic and the carving of wood. At 80 PSI the 1/4" nozzle supplied with the blaster will require 15 CFM. For maximum operating power, no less than 5/16" I.D. air hose of a maximum 50 feet length with no splices or restrictions should be connected to a direct line from the compressor tank to the blast gun.

    1. The blaster is designed to spray abrasive materials such as coal slag, aluminum oxide, glass bead, metal shot, silicon carbide, ground corn cob and ground nut shells.

  4. Will this be able to handle Aluminium oxide blasting media? And what is the recommended cfm @ 90psi?

    1. The blaster is designed for use with abrasive material such as aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, coal slag, ground corncobs, ground nutshells, and metal shot. The manufacturer does not offer a 90 PSI rating. The CFM at 80 PSI is 15.
