Product Summary

ALC Walnut Shells Abrasive Blast Media is the hard fibrous grit product made from ground or crushed walnut shells. When used as a blasting media, walnut shell grit is extremely durable, angular and multi-faceted, yet is considered a soft abrasive. Walnut shell blasting grit is an excellent replacement for sand (free silica) to avoid inhalation health concerns. Walnut shells are recommended for use on soft surfaces such as aluminum, brass, wood, fiberglass and other surfaces where no pitting is desired. Walnut shells will leave a smooth, dull finish. Lastly, Walnut Shells will not remove metal. Best Uses: Cleaning, Restoration, Brick, Block, Aluminum, Brass, Wood. U.S.A.

    other materials have a grit size listed, i currently have walnut grit , but it is unusable as it clogs the nozzle on my pressure blaster.
