    1. The compressor should produce 6 to 25 cfm at 65 to 110 psi.

    2. I really big one. I needed about 6 CFM's to run at 80 PSI continously. Otherwise, you have to stop and weight for the pot to fill back up with air.

  2. Would this blaster be suitable for corn cob media?

    1. This pressure blaster is compatible with corn cob media. When using corn cob media, you'll most likely have to use the largest blaster nozzle. The nozzle size is ultimately determined by the grit size of the media. To use the largest nozzle, your compressor needs to provide 20 CFM at 90 PSI. Please check your air compressor's rating to verify that it produces 20 CFM at PSI or more.

    2. This unit is suitable for corn cob but would probably only fit through the largest of the four nozzles available, depending on the grit size. The largest nozzle requires 20cfm at 90psi so you need to check your compressor and the volume of air it makes.

    1. This Allsource Roll-About Abrasive Blaster has a ball valve to regulate pressure and does not include a regulator.

    1. Sand can collect moisture and clog the nozzle and plumbing of this unit. On top of that, the silica dust is very harmful to ones health. Sand is not recommended for this unit.

    2. We do not recommend sand with this unit. The silica dust has been found to be harmful.
      Also, sand collects moisture which can cause it to get clogged in the plumbing and or nozzle.

    Hello! I purchased this style/make of sand blaster for my husband. I need to get an air compressor to use with it. I need to know how many gallons & PSI needed to properly use it. Thanks, Sassy

    1. This Abrasive Blaster requires a 2 stage compressor that can produce 6-25 cfm. Please see item 459382 or item 459242 for a couple of compressor options.
