    1. The THD at idle would be 2.0%, 50% load 5-6% and at 100% load is not given. The harmonic distortion will generally increase with load, the dampening features in the generator are designed to handle and mitigate, distortion from non-linear loads.

  2. As this is an air-cooled generator, what is maximum air temperature that this unit will run at with 100% load and with 50% load?

    1. The generator would be air-cooled. The maximum ambient air temperature it would run at would be 104 degrees F. It would be the same at 100% or 50% load.

  3. What size is the fuel tank and what is the ru time on a tank at 50% load ?

    1. The fuel tank capacity is 7 gallons. The fuel consumption rating at 100% load is 0.69 GPH, at 75% load is 0.55 GPH, at 50% load is .045 GPH and at 25% load is 0.38 GPH. The continuous run time at 100% is 10 hours, at 75% it is 13.3 hours, at 50% it is 16.5 hours and at 25% it is 20 hours.

  6. Can this unit be wired for full automatic standby use ? I would like to mount on concrete pad and run cables under ground etc for our Mountain home. Thanks  Robin Lawrence  Salisbury NH

    1. The GL7000 can be wired to accept an autos start signal from an ATS. You would need to purchase the auto start kit, item #129891, model KT00074 to accomplish this. This item is currently not listed online. You would contact us at 1.800.221.0516 to purchase the kit.
