    Is there any way to extend the runtime with an external fuel tank?

    1. There are suppliers who make external tanks for this unit.  I have seen 100 gallon tanks added.  Other than the tank, you need to add a fuel pump

    1. Before the generator can be connected to the building's electrical system, it is recommended to have a licensed electrician install an isolation transfer switch in to the building's main fuse box.

    1. The Kubota Lowboy II (GL-11000 / G3112-00000) is liquid-cooled, utilizing a water-jacketed diesel engine (Kubota D722) with coolant circulated through a radiator by a water pump and fan, which provides airflow cooling to the liquid.

    1. The generator does not come with an auto idle feature.

    1. The part number for the fuel filter element is 1T021-43560 and for the complete fuel filter assembly, it is 1E-250-43010. These parts are available directly through the manufacturer.

  8. Will the Kubota run on dyed marine fuel?

    1. The generator will not work with dyed marine fuel. The recommended fuel will be an ultra low sulfur fuel class CF, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4 or CI-4.

  9. What temperature will this start down to? Is there a block heater available?

    1. The generator can be started at about 23 degrees, anything lower than that you would need to use the generators glow start system. This will be listed in the product manual for the generator. A block heater is available for it., the part number is 700000077. Northern Tool does not currently carry the block heater.

  10. The max current is listed as 41.7A which is 11kW at 240V.  Will it provide 83A at 120V?

    1. This generator will provide 83.4 Amps when using the 120V receptacles, and 41.7 Amps when using the 240V receptacles.
