  1. Can you insert a hose from a battery powered fuel pump into the container? New diesel can have a plastic mesh inside preventing the hose from reaching the bottom.

    1. The FLO-FAST 10.5-Gallon Container (Model #10504) does not have a filter, mesh screen, or other obstruction inside the 3-inch opening. A battery-powered fuel transfer pump can be used if the pump cap matches the container's 3-inch threaded opening and the suction hose is long enough to reach the bottom of the container. The manufacturer also offers an optional 80-micron filter, Model #80850 (Item #84817), for use with the Model #55100 (Item #84816) hand pump, which pumps up to 8 GPM.

  2. What is the size of the whole in the lid? Is it threaded and can a fitting be screwed into it?

    1. The cap on the can is a solid cap. There is no hole on the top. This is an indent in the cap from molding.

  3. Can this be stored on its side in a truck bed or must it be kept upright?

    1. This fuel tank should not be stored on it's side with fuel in it.
