This ALC® Abrasive Pressure Blaster is perfect for a wide variety of surface preparation jobs such as removing paint, scale, rust and oxidation. Ideal for surface preparation on cars, trucks, machinery, steel, glass etching and much more. Features a 10ft. heavy-duty Goodyear blast hose designed for long life and maneuverability. Durable wheels and built-in handle allow for easy transport. Heavy-duty steel deadman shutoff handle for longevity and safety. Simply add abrasive and hook up to an air supply and you're ready to blast.

    1. This pressure blaster can be used with coal slag, glass bead, aluminum oxide and others. It would depend on what you need to use the blaster for.

    1. You may use a compressor that has a higher CFM such as 300 as long as the pressure does not exceed 80 PSI.

    would like to etch words and designs into rocks and slab stone will this work.

    1. This abrasive blaster can be used to etch rocks and stone as long as the proper abrasive media and an air compressor with the necessary cfm and psi are used with it.

  8. Can I use sand in this model of blaster?

    1. You can use sand in this blaster, but is not recommended by the manufacturer. Mostly due to the amount of dust it creates that is not good to breath.

  9. Does this unit come with an air supply hose? If not, can a supply hose be purchased from Northern?

    1. This abrasive blaster will come with a 10 foot abrasive hose, you will need to supply the 1/2 inch high pressure air hose.

    1. A 20 foot hose can be used with the abrasive blaster. The performance would be modified with the longer hose.
