You will need:
1. Gas conduit, either blackpipe or flexible gas line.
2. Appropriate couplings, elbow joints, reducers for the diameter pipe you will be using.
3. Gas shut-off valve.
4. The inlet pressure to the LP heater is 1/2 PSI. Most LP systems are at 2 PSI. You may have to purchase a 2 PSI-to 1/2PSI pressure reducing valve.Helpful?

The garage heater will include the heater, mounting brackets, thermostat, vent and gas control valve. The piping needed to hook to your propane tank outside can be purchased from the propane company that will hook up the heater.

My garage is concrete block, open trusses and no insulation. Do I need to maintain the 30" clearance everywhere?

Two can be connected to a single gas line, but you will need to increase the pressure to ensure both heaters are getting enough fuel to stay lit. You will need to make sure both units are getting around 11"-14" WC.

You can set the thermostat at the lowest setting, so the pilot stays lit, but the heater would not come on. If you shut the heater completely off, the pilot will go out.
