    2. Yes, but this is what you need to connect the pipe that comes from the propane tank. Also, Procom recommends using a 100 lb. propane tank, not a 40 lb tank.

    3. Yes. The Mr. Heater Universal Gas Connection Kit, Model# F271239, includes both a 1/2" and a 3/8" adapter to connect to the appliance valve. The MN300TPA requires a 1/2" adapter. Also it works with both propane and natural gas.

    How do I attach to a 20lb tank

    1. The fitting on the Universal Gas Connection kit is for a home or commercial gas line, it is not intended to be connected to a 20 lb propane tank.

    2. This Mr. Heater Gas Connection Kit is to be used with a gas line that is connected into your home. This is not to be used with a portable 20 lb. propane tank.

  5. How long is this Mr. Heater Universal Gas Connection #F271239?

    If this is not long enough, can two be used end-to-end or is there a longer one available and if so, what is it's length? If the longer one is rubber, is there any special concern to be aware of using a proper gas rubber hose vs. a flwex-pipe connection?

    1. The longest you can legally use is 60"

    2. The piping is 24". There is not a longer one available from Northern Tool + Equipment. With the proper fittings you should be able to hook up more than one piece of tubing. It is suggested that you speak with a professional for gas installation.
