    Can it be mounted outside (outdoors) on the tank or will the elements destroy it?

    1. Yes, it has to be. Because you never use propane tanks indoors.

    3. This two stage regulator mounts directly to the propane tank which must be outdoors. It is designed to be okay in the elements.

  2. Can the soft nose POL adapter be removed?

    What is the inlet thread size if I can remove the POL adapter?

    I plan on using this on a 20,000 BTU vent-less heater. Min/Max WC is 11 to 14". Will this work or is there a better option?

    1. Will work just fine have one set up on a 30000 btu heater will work at 14WC-11WC at 2psi

    2. Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the POL can be removed and this two stage regulator can be used for installing your Vent Free heater.

    3. The soft nosed POL adapter can be removed. After removal, the inlet would have a 3/8" male pipe thread fitting. This regulator will function on your heater as it has a 11" WC output.

  5. Will this work with the 50000btu big maxx?

    I bought a 50,000 BTU Big Maxx and have a 100lb propane tank. The specs call for 11 - 13" wc. Does this regulator meet the specs for that combo?
    Is a 100lb propane tank large enough?

    1. This regulator will have an 11” water column output. It will work with your 100 pound propane tank and Mr. Heater Big Maxx heater.
