Product Summary

The Hobart Handler 125 Flux-Core /MIG Welder, similar to the Hobart Handler 140 Flux-Core/MIG Welder, with the exception that the 140 welds a bit thicker, comes with gas regulator, gas hose and transformer with 10-50 SCFH Flow Gauge Regulator. This complete package is sold only at Northern Tool and allows for easy setup and infinite wire speed control. Traditional operation with separate voltage and wire-feed speed knobs allow customized control. This unit operates off 120V household current. A gas solenoid makes it easy to change from flux-core wire to MIG welding. Take complete control of your project with this flow gauge regulator form Hobart, which provides precise control of shielding gas during both MIG and TIG welding in order to protect against fusion defects, porosity and weakening of weld metals. Regulator gauge lenses are medium-duty shatter-resistant polycarbonate. The anodized aluminum body is corrosion resistant. Precise pressure adjustment is possible with the neoprene diaphragm. Dual filters protect against debris, creating reliable operation. This welder is 100% tested and inspected and comes with a one-year warranty. The inert gas hose prevents sediment accumulation with the smooth interior and exterior. Working pressures are increased with the open-weave inner braid and PVC reinforcement.

    1. The Handler 125 can run shielding gas, but you need to add a flow‑gauge regulator and gas hose. Without those parts, it operates only in flux‑core mode. Use regulator Item #101869 on our website for MIG welding with gas.

    1. For 120 volt AC input power, a 20 ampere individual circuit protected by time delay fuses or circuit breaker is required. The receptacle is a NEMA 5-15R. Select an extension cord of 12 AWG for up to 50 feet or 10 AWG for 50-100 feet.
