  1. How long can you store flux core before it goes bad?

    Few months, years?

    1. Not sure how long but you need to keep it in low humidity environment. Try zip-loc bag.

    2. It depends on the variables in which the item is stored. I never stored wire past a few years, but I believe one could store this wire for several years under the right conditions, e.g., temperature.

    3. I'd say years. I still have some older flux core wire (I stocked up a few years back) that I just swapped a spool out for and it seems to work just fine.

    4. Flux core wire will go bad after it rusts so it is not reccommended to purchase more wire than you need for a project.
