  2. For those that have one - Question

    Does the spindle and clamp head pivot ? It looks like a re-make of an AC100 clamp, if you search you can see the pictures of the pivot, wondering if this does the same.

    1. Yes, it pivots at the clamp head and threaded boss as seen in pictures.

    2. Yes, the spindle rotates in its circular seat as does the clamping head. Consequently, it can clamp different stock sizes in each side and hold square.

    3. I opened the clamp all the way and it looks like it's over 4 inches or wider. I didn't have a tape measure at the time.

    4. I'd have up to 2" square stock in it, but I think it'll do more than that. Anything bigger than 2" is overkill for the kind of stuff I do.

  6. What is the length and width of the slots? And what is the dimension from center to center of the slots in the X & Y axis?

    1. The bottom slot length is 80mm and width is 13mm. The right slot length is 60mm and width is 13mm. The distance from one axis to the other is approximately 110MM.

  7. Does it offer spacers the same height as the Lamp to hold up the end that isn’t being welded to keep it level or do you have to make your own

    1. Spacers are not offered with the clamp, they would have to be fabricated.

  8. What is the height of the clamp

    From the bottom of the base to the area where the material rests? Typically should be just around 1" but just want to confirm.

    I need to weld both round and square tubing. Will this clamp work with round tubing?

  10. What is the capacity for Square Tube

    The stats list 4" as well as 2 3/8". Which is which? Will it hold a pair of 4" square tubes at a right angle, or ony 2"?

    Also, How deep are the jaws (for holding round pipe)? 1" deep to hold 2" pipe, 2" deep to hold 4" etc etc?

    1. This angle clamp's jaw has a maximum opening/capacity of 4" wide. The jaw (throat) depth is 2-3/8". This angle clamp will hold a pair of 4" square tubes at a right angle. With a jaw depth of 2-3/8", it can securely hold round pipe up to 4" in diameter.
