The pump includes a particulate filter with 10 micron nominal filtration to remove particles from fuel which helps prevent damage to equipment being fueled. Motor is cULus listed.

    1. The pump could not be used with E85. It can only be used with up to E15.

  4. Can I remove the plug out of the top of the pump and use that for the discharge side instead of using the side port?

    1. You would not be able to remove the plug from the top of the pump and use that for the discharge port.

  5. What size threads are the filters or what what filter is a direct replacment?

    1. The filter on this pump would have 1"-12 UNF threads. The replacement part number for the filter is 129300-01, available directly through the manufacturer.

  6. is this pump rated for gasoline? And is the pump big enough to pump through a 50' hose?

    1. This pump can be used with gasoline. It has a max total head of 15' and would not be able to pump 50' without a significant decrease in flow rate and pressure.

  8. What is the difference between Max. Suction Lift and Max. Total Head?

    I need to remove old gasoline from and underground tank about 15 ft below my truck bed level. Will is suction out the fuel?

    1. The max suction lift is the vertical distance the pump can lift from the source to the pump. The max total head is the total distance the pump can move the fuel from the source to the drainage point. The max suction lift of this pump is about 4' 9" and the max head is 15'. A pump like item 53309 would be recommended for the application described as it has a max suction lift of 15'.

  9. Is the nozzle ok to use with diesel

    I see the pump is rated for diesel, but the nozzle says it's rated for unleaded fuel. Can this setup be used for diesel, incl nozzle?
