  1. What size is the inlet port? Where can I buy this fitting to weld to my tank?

    1. The inlet flange (KIT120BG, Northern Tool Item# 6207811) uses a dual‑thread design: its 2″ NPT male thread installs into a 2″ NPT female tank bung, and the suction pipe threads into the internal 1″ NPT female port.

    1. It would not be recommended to remove the filter on this fuel transfer pump.

    1. This model would be just the pump only, it would not come with a suction tube.

    1. This pump will include a 3/4 in. elbow, 5 ft. 12-Gauge ground wire. No additional accessories are included.

  6. Can this pump be installed vertically?  Instead of placing on top of fuel bulk tank can it be mounted on the side and piped to tank?

    1. The pump can be mounted on the side of the tank and piped to it. However, the motor should remain in a horizontal position, not a vertical one. The armature in the motor is not designed with enough support to mount the motor vertically.
