This GPI® 12 Volt Fuel Transfer Pump features a rotary gear design and is made from durable and light weight cast aluminum. The 12-volt DC motor delivers flow rates up to 15 GPM. The fuel transfer pump provides longer run times and award-winning performance year after year. Ideal for use in agricultural, automotive and construction applications with low viscosity petroleum fuels. Motor is cULus listed.

    1. it is made of plastic and is extendable.

  2. When not in use does the pump automatically seal the drum to keep air from entering and evaporating the fuel?

    1. The pump is not sealed to keep air out completely and you would also be getting air in from the vented fuel cap. You would get some evaporation.

    1. Northern Tool does not offer this fuel transfer pump separate from the hose and nozzle.

  7. increased discharge hose size

    This pump has a 3/4" discharge. my auto shut off, filter housing and hose are all 1". If I install a 3/4" x 1" adapter at the pump outlet, will I get any increase in flow as compared to using a 3/4" filter housing, hose, and shutoff?

    1. To use an adapter from 3/4" to 1" would not give you any increase in the flow. It will still put out the 15 GPM the pump is rated for.

  8. What is the difference between the model (M-150S-EM) & Model# M150S-MU?

    What is the difference between the model (M-150S-EM - item# 109331) & Model# M150S-MU (item# 360566)?

    1. The M-150S-EM model has a direct mount 2" NPT fitting and a 10' dispensing hose, while the M150S-MU model has a spin collar 2" NPT fitting and a 12' dispensing hose.

  9. Can this unit be installed without turning the pump?

    My tank has a step down where the pump is mounted. you would not be able to spin the pump to screw it in.

    1. This item would need to be twisted in to be locked into place to be secure.
