Product Summary

The Vestil Fixed Gantry Crane is designed for transporting and positioning materials. The strong, solid steel construction will provide years of service. Large casters with roller bearings facilitate easy mobility from one area to another when unloaded. Available in 3 sizes. Complies with applicable CMAA and ANSI specifications. Gantry crane is NOT to be moved while loaded. Trolley and hoist not included.

Note: Inspect frequently to insure safe operation; final testing and inspection is the user's responsibility after final assembly has been completed.

  3. What is the working load height?

    I know the gantry is 10' above the ground but what height can you have a load at with taking in to account the chain fall etc.
    I am hoping it can lift a load 8' above the base.

    1. The height to the bottom of the I-beam is 10'. A two ton chain hoist will require approximately 18" of head room to operate. The maximum lift height would be approximately 8 1/2'.

  4. What is the exact weight of the gantry after it is put together?

    I am assuming shipping weight is greater than the actual product due to the wooden pallet etc.

    1. This crane comes with the 4 position locking swivel casters. Northern does not carry any v-groove casters to replace them.

    1. The dimensions for the I-beam are as follows 10 feet in length as well as from the ground 5 inches in height and 6 inches in width with 9 feet in usable width. The base width is 64-1/2 inches and a 3 inch flange width.
