    1. This hoist has an IP54 rating, indicating it is protected against limited dust entry and water splashes from any direction.

  2. Is this hoist pre lubricated or does it need oil or grease added to it once it has been shipped to me?

    1. Before use, check the oil level and add oil if needed. For ambient temperature of approximately 50℉ to 122℉, a gear oil of Mm²/S at 104℉, with mild high-pressure additives should be used. IDEMITSU racing gear 140 GL-5 is the oil that should be used.
