What is the working load height?
I know the gantry is 10' above the ground but what height can you have a load at with taking in to account the chain fall etc.
I am hoping it can lift a load 8' above the base.1 answer-
The height to the bottom of the I-beam is 10'. A two ton chain hoist will require approximately 18" of head room to operate. The maximum lift height would be approximately 8 1/2'.

What is the exact weight of the gantry after it is put together?
I am assuming shipping weight is greater than the actual product due to the wooden pallet etc.

Are there any V-groove casters available for this model?

This crane comes with the 4 position locking swivel casters. Northern does not carry any v-groove casters to replace them.
