Product Summary

This RDS Fuel Transfer Tank/Toolbox Combo with 8 GPM Pump is designed for transferring diesel fuel, gasoline or aviation fuel from the bed of a pickup to automobiles, heavy equipment, boats, 4-wheelers, generators, or anything else requiring fuel that you may have. Enjoy the convenience of a gas station that goes where you go. A 12V transfer pump is included and installed. A toolbox is also built in for extra storage. DOT approved aluminum fuel tanks do not rust, which protects fuel from contamination. This tank can also be used as a diesel auxiliary tank when used in conjunction with the optional Diesel Install Kit (sold separately). It is the user's responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading and discharging tank contents.

    1. The full unit is 55" L x 30" W x 21" H. The toolbox area is 44" L x 13-1/14" H.

    1. Flushing the tank is not required or mentioned in the installation steps. It may help if any debris manages to enter the tank.

  3. Can I direct line to fuel supply . Can it be inside topper .

    1. You can directly line for diesel fuel using a conversion kit. We recommend items 43748, 3490901, or 3490902 depending on which vehicle the tool box is being used on. It can be installed inside a topper as long as it is 21" or higher in height. Please comply with local, state and federal requirements.

  4. Does the toolbox have it's own bottom plate or does it sit directly on top of the gas tank?

  5. how much fluid in the tank will not be able to be pumped out

    also is this tank vented for filling with a truck stop filling station i.e.: 1" hose and 10 gallons per minute filling

    1. Approximately 3 gallons will not be able to be pumped out and the tank is vented for filling at a station.

  6. does it come in black finish? Were is the fill spout on tank?

    1. The tank is a diamond plate aluminum and does not come in black. The fill spout is located inside of the tank where the nozzle attaches.
