    How much does the unit weigh?

    1. I estimate the unit weighs about 30 to 40 lbs or so. Not heavy at all for a unit this size. All the weight is in the transformer. The rest is sheet metal, dials and plastic.

  3. Does this have auto volt feature?

    Can we plug also to 220V? If not do you have battery charger that has this auto volt feature?

    Does it automatically turn off when the battery is full charged?

    Can it start the engine or jump-start engine when the battery is drained?

    2. This unit will only work on 110V power. It is a manual charger and therefor must be turned off manually, no automatic shutoff when fully charged. It will jump start 12V vehicles when the battery is fully drained.

    3. This is manual charger and would not automatically shut off when the battery is charged. You would need to get an automatic charger to have this feature.

      It would start your car if the battery was drained.

      It will not plug into a 220 volt outlet. I'm sorry we do not have one that would plug into a 220.

      We also do not have one with the 6/12/18/24 volt in an automatic unit.

  4. Do any of these chargers have a battery or do they need to be plugged in to boost?

    1. No battery. They have to be plugged in.

    2. The Schumacher Starter/chargers will need to be plugged in to charge or boost a battery. They do not contain a battery. A Powerpack and Jumpstarter system will have a built in battery (see below).

  7. Is this charge able to charge AGM batteries?

    1. This Schumacher battery charger is not recommended for charging AGM batteries. Please see my recommendation below for an automatic charger with AGM charging feature. The item number is 57025.

  8. does fan run when ever pluged in or just when chargeing?

    1. The Schumacher Wheeled Charger is cooled by a fan that is controlled by a thermostat so that it only runs when unit needs cooling.

  9. How long can this charger run using the engine start feature? Smaller units can only go about 10-15 seconds before needing a long cool down period.

    1. This unit needs to cool down for 3 minutes between starting attempts. While using the charger the engine should be only be cranked for 5 seconds. The charger will last longer by alternating the use of the start engine feature with a cool period and charging the battery for 5 minutes on the standard modes.
