  1. Will charger operate as stand alone battery for operating a fuel pump for fueling a tractor lawn mower.

    1. The battery charger and engine starter would not work as a stand alone battery to operate a fuel pump. When plugged into a wall outlet, its 12-volt output and 6A/25A setting could power a 12-volt fuel pump if connected directly to the pump while the charger is plugged in.

  2. How to charge battery

    1. Turn off all vehicle accessories. Keep the hood of the vehicle open. Clean the battery terminals. Set the timer to the off position. Lay the AC/DC cables away from fan blades, belts, pulleys or any moving parts. Connect the battery using the positive and negative connections. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. Select the desired charging rate. Set the time to the desired charging time. Always monitor the charger and battery. When disconnecting, set the timer to off, disconnect the charger from the AC power, remove the clamp from the vehicle chassis and then remove the clamp from the battery terminal. For additional instructions, please refer to the manual included with the charger.

    1. This will be able to charge a completely dead battery provided the battery is still capable of accepting a charge. Since this is a manual charger a second charged battery would not be required to start the charging process.

  5. Does the timer automatically shut down the charger or does a alarm go off?

    1. The timer allows you to set a specified time for charging. After the timer expires, the charger stops charging the battery. This is to prevent the battery being over charged.

    1. This delivers a 150 Amp engine starting power. It is best to check with your tractor dealer or manual to determine the starting amperage for the engine.
