Tired of water spots on freshly washed vehicles? Northern Tool + Equipment in collaboration with On the Go, an American business, has developed a deionization unit to provide laboratory grade deionized water for spot-free water. With its dual-tank design, this until will reduce your operating costs (cost per gallon) when compared to single-unit (mixed-bed) designs. This two-tank unit utilizes two different premium resin products that produce 500K. The first tank in the series contains 1/2 cubic foot of cation resin; the second tank contain 1/2 cubic foot of anion resin. When running these tanks in series, 2 times more water will be produced when comparing to the dual bed double standard unit, which lowers operating costs even more! Each tank stands 22” high by 9” in diameter and works well with pressure washers to make the maximum use of your time while washing and rinsing your customers’ cars/RVs/boats/solar panels, etc. Flow rate: Less than 3 gallons/minute for best performance and effectiveness No need to towel dry as this deionizer unit provides a spot-free rinse by removing the total dissolved solids (TDS)/minerals as the water passes through the resin. In addition to each tank being filled with virgin (non-regenerated) resin, your purchase will include a polypropylene cam lever for easy hook up, a 4’ pressure hose, a hand-held TDS meter, and cap/plugs for the brass inlet/outlets. The resin shipped in these tanks will rinse approximately 181 cars or 30 Class A RVs. This approximation is based on TDS of 250 PPM of the source water. This is also based on rinsing with five gallons of water per car, 30 gallons per RV.

    1. The water from the deionizer can be used for window cleaning. The TDS (total dissolved solids) will depend on the water source. The approximate TDS is based on 250 PPM of the water source.
