Product Summary

This NorTrac Industrial AC Power Unit features a heavy-duty electric motor for long life. The 230/460V pressure-balanced high-efficiency gear pump is high speed with a high flow rate. Has a 15-gal. reservoir tank that can be used for lift-hold-lower functions or pressure and return port only by removing solenoid valve and installing return port plug assembly. Ideal for use with lift tables, scissor lifts, aerial work platforms and other industrial and logistic applications.

  6. Where is the return line

    1. If this power unit is used as shipped from the factory, as a Lift-Hold-Lower function and operation, then the return line is the same as the pressure line. The flow returns back to the reservoir this way.

      If the two-way valve assembly (coil & stem) was removed and the return port plug adapter (shipped in the box) was installed, the flow goes out the outlet pressure port to some directional control valve and flow oil comes back into the return port plug adapter.

    1. This electric motor follows more European standards and therefore does not have a frame size designation.

  9. What voltage is the solenoid? My application is a simple extend and retract a cylinder. Will the supplied solenoid work for that?

    1. This power unit has a 24 volt DC solenoid. It would work for your application,if you have 24 volt.

  10. Can I install a lowering manual valve to this unit ?

    So when the power is off I can lowering the platform.

    1. You are able to change the valve on the unit for that application. Be sure to replace the coil with the same branded part as well to ensure the parts function properly. Please note that custom modifications may void the warranty.
