Is unit suitable for splitting fire wod?

The power pack is not recommended for a log splitter application. The pump is low volume which will cause lower speeds and less splitting force.

This does not have electric start. It will be a recoil (pull) start machine.

How long will this unit run on a tank of gas?

The consumption will vary depending on the demand put onto the engine. Honda suggests that the fuel consumption on a GC160 Honda engine would be expected to be 1.5 Liters per hour at 3600 rpm.
