    1. The panel dimensions are 11.2'' long, 5.08'' wide, and .04'' thick.

  2. Do you need a charge controller with a 3 or 8 watt solar panel, or is your battery safe from over charging?

    1. The solar panel output in lower than 12 watts. This does not require a charge controller to charge the battery. The panel can charge the battery directly as the output current are much lower than the amp hour rating of the battery.
