  1. Can this be used to charge 12-volt deep cycle Lithium Ion batteries?

    1. The charge controller is not designed for lithium batteries. It can be used with AGM, GEL, lead acid and deep cycle batteries.

  3. Is this controller water proof? Weather resistant? Water resistant? It doesn't appear to be. Since solar panels are always used outdoors, it's conceivable that the controller might also need to be outside. Think deer feeder for example.

    1. This should be placed within 2-5 feet of the battery, in a well protected dry place, free from moisture and weather.

  4. Do the attached connectors allow for 2 panels to be attached or do we need to purchase additional cables?

    1. The connections allow for one connection for the input. For multiple panels a Y adapter would be needed or a hard wire connection to the fitting.

  5. How do I connect this controller to my solar panel and battery?

    1. Using the battery wire, connect the battery clamp adapters to the charge controller. Next, connect the red positive battery clamp to the positive battery terminal. Then connect the negative battery clamp
      to the negative battery terminal.
      Step 2: Connect the charge controller to the solar panel using the solar panel wire on the charge controller. Connect the J plug to the solar panel J plug.
