    1. The output is DC. Charge controllers are used to regulate the power from solar panels to charge 12 volt batteries. You will need to add an inverter if you want AC power from a Solar power system.

  2. Will this charge controller charge lithium iron phosphate (lifepo4) batteries?

    1. This is just a charge controller to be connected to a 12 volt battery and solar panels. The solar panels would not charge lithium iron phosphate batteries. If the the solar panels and 12 volt battery were connected to an inverter, and you have a 120 volt charger for the batteries, you could plug the charger into the inverter to charge the batteries. You would need to make sure the inverter could handle the wattage requirement for the battery charger.

    1. The number of panels that can be used with the charge controller depends on the amperage and wattage of the panel used without exceeding the 450 watt rating. It can use up to 4 of the 110 watt panels or 2 of the 200 watt panels.

  5. What is the input voltage from the panels? 12,24,48?

    1. This can handle 12 volt panels only. It is not compatible with 24 or 48 volts.
