The duty cycle is 30% at 90 amps. The maximum you may weld continuously is 3 minutes. The duty cycle defines the number of minutes, within a 10 minute period, during which a given machine can safely produce a particular current. If the machine working time reaches to the maximum working time according to the duty cycle, the thermal protector will activate and the “Overload Indicator” will illuminate. The machine will automatically shut down until it cools, then you may resume welding again.

How to switch it from gasless to mig. I'm sure i have to reverse the polarity
1 answer-
KlutchExpert12· 9 months ago
The MIG electrode polarity jumper should be connected to the positive (+) DINSE socket. The ground cable would then be connected to the negative (-) DINSE socket. Please make sure to use the drive roll marked "V". Attach the included gas hose to the regulator's outlet and the welder's gas inlet. Wrench tighten both connections. Then, connect the gas regulator with the gas cylinder.

I just received my klutch 140. I noticed in the directions that it specifies different wire drives for MIG vs flux core. In the owners manual it says to use a v drive roller for MiG and a KV drive roller for flux core. Does the unit come with both?
1 answer-
KlutchExpert12· 10 months ago
The welder is ready for MIG and flux-core welding, which means it should include both necessary drive rollers.
