  1. I bought this engine and also the exhaust recomened.do I need to order a gasket for exhaust separate or does it come with

  2. RTAF.....what do these letters represent on the engine?

    1. R is the series code, whereas the TAF is a specification code that identifies the engines uniqueness compared to other GX690 engines..

  3. I want to replace a GX 670 24 hp with a 690. Does the 690 have same hp? Also is it same size? Space limited.

    1. They are approximately the same horsepower. The physical dimensions of the GX390 are 16"L X 18"W X 18"H. The mounting base dimensions are 7.69" X 3.39"-4.65" and bolt circles are 5" X 6-1/2", OR 7-3/4". The shaft size is 1-1/8" Diameter X 3.55" L. You would want to make sure your engine has the same shaft size and bolt circles to be sure it will mount up.
