Is this Engine a good choice to use on a snowblower application and can this engine be converted over to electric strart ?

This engine could be used in a snow blower, providing that the shaft dimensions, overall dimensions and mounting base are similar to the engine that it is replacing. We do not offer a kit that would convert this engine to electric start. Our item # 6013 would come with electric start and has the same specifications.

If you're repowering a snow blower, you need to get all the specifications for the current motor and then contact the technical staff to help you find the appropriate model. You would not want to convert this to an electric start. There are nearly identical models that come with electric start and that is the better way to go. Choose before you purchase. It is no big deal if your blower currently has electric start. If it doesn't you will need to consider how you will mount a battery to your machine.
