Electric Start wiring Black/White to Positive/Negative
Can anyone tell me what wire is negative and what wire is positive? I have to hook up a battery to the electric starter. The electric starter has a black and white wire. Not sure which is positive and which is negative.

Positive (+) goes directly to the starter ,,,the negative (-) any metal surface n the motor

When wiring to the battery, the positive cable(typically white) get wired from the positive terminal on the battery to the starter solenoid terminal. The negative cable(typically black) gets wired from the negative battery cable to an engine mounting bolt, frame bolt, or other good engine ground connection, but not to the starter. The color of cable used won't matter as long the proper connections are made, but it is a good idea to black for the negative, an industry standard.

There is a voltage regulator/rectifier in the box, but not attached to the motor along with a harness....do these items need to be installed on the motor or is this an extra piece?

On the Honda GX390UT2XQNE2 Engine, the voltage regulator/rectifier and charging harness may ship loose in the box and need to be installed.

How much voltage does it put out I have a 12amp burner would this keep it flowing nice ?

The engine does not have a built-in voltage output. It does not generate AC or DC voltage. It would depend on what the engine is powering, such as if it were on a generator it would convert the engines mechanical power into AC voltage.
