Glideforce LD-ACME model linear actuator features an all-metal housing and is water-resistant and sealed against dust for rugged durability. 12V motor has 20:1 reduction gearbox that gives actuator a dynamic load rating of 110 lbs. and is rated to hold up to 500 lbs. when not moving. Use to raise and lower power equipment attachments, auto hoods and trunks, position solar panels, television lifts and many other applications around the home and farm. Unit can be controlled with a double pole, double throw switch or with the built-in position sensor and optional linear actuator programmable controller.

    1. The working temperature range for this item is: -13F [-25C] +149F [+65C].

  2. does it stop retracting when you let go of the switch at different lenths and then continue or does it extend/ retract from stopping point

    1. This will have preset limit switches at each end of the stroke to prevent damage from over extending or retracting. What happens after the movement button is release depends on the switch being used. If a momentary switch is used it will stop moving when the button is released such as with our item #27329. This can also be connected to a control box that will stop at programmed positions such as with our item #27313.
