This Firepower® FP-200 MIG/Flux-Cored Welding System delivers 200 Amp output and helps you improve welding results with advanced functions typically found on industrial machines. The lightweight system welds material from 22 gauge up to 3/8in. in a single pass. Accepts 4- and 8in. diameter wire spools. Comes complete with a MIG gun, gas regulator, ground clamp, power adapter, sample spool of flux cored wire and 2 drive rolls.

  2. How long is the power cord on the welder? Is it a 230 volt cord? Does the adapter allow plug in to 115 volt outlet? How long is the adapter cord?

    1. This can be used with 120 Volt (with the included 120 volt converter pigtail) or 230 Volt. The cord is 8 feet long. With the 120 Volt converter pigtail, the cord is 10 feet long.

    1. The spool gun is not included with this welder. The spool gun part number 1027-1397 is not available through Northern Tool.

  4. WHAT IS THE DUTY CYCLE

    1. The welder would have a 25% duty cycle at 90 A/18.5 V, 15% duty cycle at 200 A/24 V and 100% duty cycle at 45 A/16.3 V. See page 14 of product manual A listed on our web for the FP-200 welder.

  5. will it work on a 5500 watt generator with 220 output

    1. A generator that can supply 9,600 starting watts is recommended. A 5500 watt generator is too small.
