  6. Can this fan be mounted on the outside of a building?

    I'm trying to replace a KitchenAid KPED89T vent fan since the parts for KitchenAid are no longer available. I would like to know if this fan could be installed in place of the KitchenAid fan and wired to the existing rheostat. The current mount is on the outside of the house and pulls the air from the kitchen.

    1. This Canarm wall exhaust fan can be mounted on the outside of a building. It requires a minimum wire diameter of 14 gauge.

    1. This fan would need fit into standard 16" studs on center. You would need to modify the studs in order for the fan to fit.
