This BendPak® 4-Post Extra-Tall Car Lift is a reliable electric/hydraulic power system lift that's ideal for vehicle service or storage. The lift has a space-saving design that is comparable in size to a typical parking space and is designed to maximize valuable floor area. Features a single-phase 220V, 2 HP motor that brings the lift to full rise in just 45 seconds. 15 locking positions in each column provide excellent operator safety. 224in.L x 110 1/4in.W x 100in.H overall, 100 1/4in.W between posts. 19in.W runways are adjustable. 188in. runway length. Standard gray finish. Optional caster kit available (Item# 14468C, sold separately). Works with rolling bridge jack (Item# 144767, sold separately). Forklift required for unloading lift. This item is delivered by flatbed truck Monday--Friday with 24 hours advance notice. A forklift is required to offload the lift from a dock-height flatbed trailer.

  2. How difficult is it to adjust the ramp width from narrow to wide?

    Can the ramps just be slid back and forth between narrow and wide, or does it require tools, disassembly and reassembly?

    1. To move between positions you have to unbolt the ramp (4 bolts) and slide it to the other position. It is not hard but not something you want to do all the time.

    2. To adjust the width on this BendPak Lift, the offside runway needs to be unbolted from the cross tube. Then, the single runway can be slid into the ideal location. The adjustable runway would then need to be bolted down again to make it secure.

  3. Does this lift require an external air source and are the locks the only pneumatic function?

    1. Yes and yes. You will also need an air regulator/filter to lower the air pressure, I have mine set to 40 psi and they work well.

    2. The BendPak 4-Post Wide/High Lift does require an external air source and filter, regulator, oiler. The air source is just to supply the safety locks and optional rolling jacks.

    how high are ramps off the floor when in low position. My car is very low to the floor.

    1. The ramps are 5 inches off the floor when fully down. I have one vehicle with only 4 inches of ground clearance and it rolls on without any problems.

  5. I have a sloping concrete floor in my garage for drainage. Can this lift work on this floor? If not can you add metal shims to level?

    1. According to the manual, you must install it on a level pad. The maximum amount of shimming on any column cannot exceed 1/2 inch.

    2. This lift must be installed on a solid level concrete floor with no more than 3-degrees of slope.

  6. What is the full load amps on the motor - I need to add a thermal overload. I don't see it anywhere in the information.

    1. The motor on this car lift would have a full load rating of 11 amps.

    1. It would not be recommended to moved the lift once it is installed.

    1. The maximum lift on the car lift is 82" and would would then need to take into consideration the height of the vehicle and add a few more inches for clearance for the ceiling height.
