"As a professional welder with 30+ years of experience, I have used many wires. Among the 20+ welding machines I own are two Miller passport inverter type portables. I have have found that the Hobart wire run smoother and provides fewer feed hiccups then the equivalent Lincoln, Esau, and Washington alloy wires that I have tried. Seems like every time one of these machines runs out of Hobart wire and we load something else, things just go poorly. I would highly recommend this wire, and for those of you who are a little more advanced, I would offer an experienced welders trick: try welding with gasless wire such as this in a carbon dioxide shielding gas. It is particularly useful when welding material which is not particularly clean, Galvanized or painted. The shielding gas will blow away many of the smoky impurities which cause porosity. Gasless with gas! Who would’ve thought…"
