    1. These ramps are made from 14-gauge galvanized steel to resist rust.

  2. Do you have to remove the tailgate

    Curious if the tailgate needs to be removed or does it depend on the load amount? I am simply using it to load and unload a snow blower.

    1. No will not have to remove tailgate and they come with straps to hold them up

  4. Bolt Size?

    What size or kind of bolts, nuts, and washers goes on this unit?

    1. 8mm hex bolts x 20 mm long, Grade 8.8; 8 mm flat washers, helical lock washers and nuts. All zinc plated. 8 sets per pair of ramps (4 required to secure the end support plate on each ramp).

      Ratchet straps are also provided, so secure the ramps to the truck when they are in use.

    2. The bolts/nuts/washers needed to fasten the tailgate 'lips' are included with the ramps, 8 of each. They appear to have some sort of light chrome-plating on them.

    3. They come with 8 bolts washers and nuts to assemble the 'up tail gate' end. Very easy, you don't need to get any additional hardware.

    4. All necessary bolts, nuts and washers are provided in the package.

    5. The included bolts are M8 x 16, M8 Lock Nuts, M8 Flat Washers, and M8 Spring Washers. The heads on bolts measure 13mm.

    1. The plate (end) adds approximately 4" to the ramp length making the total length for my set of ramps about 76". (The ramps themselves are not exactly 6' long.)

    1. The ramps are designed to sit the tongue of the ramp on the tailgate and attach the safety chain to the bed of the truck. It is not designed for van applications.
