  1. I don't see a battery charger listed under what's included. Does it come with an AC charger or do you have to purchase that separately?

    1. It comes with the charger and two batteries.

    3. It does come with it. Battery lasts a long time, I pulled a diesel truck onto a trailer and it never got weak. Had the spare battery waiting but never needed it.

  2. How manybatteries does it come with? Is the 12 volt charger a rapid charger? Are there extra batteries available for purchase?

    1. This item comes with 2 batteries and an AC rapid charger. Northern Tool does not offer a 12 volt charger for this item. The replacement battery, part number WN685013, is available through our sister company, Jacks Small Engines. Please visit www.JacksSmallEngines.com for pricing and availability.

  3. How fast does it winch?

    How fast will it winch 15ft with maximum load? Thanks

    1. It's not the fastest winch but gets the job done. The only thing that I think they could improve on is to have a free spool to take the line out rather than use the battery.

    2. The line speed at maximum load is 13.8 feet per minute. The run time at maximum load is one minute. Therefore, it is advised to let the unit cool down for 30 minutes until winching the last 1.2 feet.

  4. Battery Care/Damage If Store In Charger

    With many cordless tools, the battery is damaged if left/stored in charger. Is that a problem with this NI-MH battery? When fully charged and removed from charger, does the battery hold that full charge when not in use. How long?

    1. I have not had any problems leaving the battery in or out. Just don't leave the winch on when the battery is in or it will drain it.

The charger for the WARN PullzAll will shut off once the battery is fully charged, but the manufacturer does not recommend leaving the battery on the charger beyond that point for an extended period of time to prevent any damage to the battery. Because there are so many factors in batteries retaining a charge when not in use, WARN does not rate the battery for a specific time that it will remain fully charged if it is not being used.

    1. Yes you can change the battery and no it does not free spool.

    2. Yes, you can replace the battery while the PullzAll is under load. No, there is not a freespool option. Due to it being rated as a lifting device, it is unable to have a freespool option.

  9. Can thinner cable (1/8”) be added to the spool to increase length of pull to 100 feet?  Or is there anything else out there you recommend to use to winch a 200 lb. load diagonally 100 feet.

    1. A thinner cable is not recommended for use with this winch. A portable winch with a longer cable is not available.

  10. I would be using this winch pulling Elk or Deer out of brush or Draws. Roughly 200 - 500lbs do you think this winch would work for such an application?
