  5. What accessories would I need to install this pump.

    It would be installed outdoors in the ground (clay soil) to control runoff. What parts (sizes & descriptions - e.g. hoses, basin, lid etc.) would I need and would be compatible with this pump?

    1. Wayne sump pumps are designed to pump clear water run off from drain tile that is dropped into a sump basin. If there is no debris coming into the basket this pump will work. You will need a sump basin with the proper 4" drain tile and a 1 1/2" discharge hose or 1 1/2"PVC pipe.

  6. How does the thermal protection work? and are parts readily avaliable?

    1. When the pump reaches a certain temp, it activates the thermal cutoff which stops the motor. Once the pump cools down the motor will restart. Parts are available through the manufacturer.
