Product Summary

The GW1949 Wiseway from US Stove eliminates the need for electricity by utilizing a natural gravity feed system that eliminates all of the typical electrical and mechanical parts found in traditional pellet heaters. This patented revolutionary design is the only EPA certified and UL listed non-electric pellet stove on the market today. The Wiseway is simple to start and operate. Simply heat the burn chamber and flue with a propane torch and start the pellet flow. This stove uses a natural draft that will take over and ramp the stove up to temperature. Adjustments are simple by opening and closing fresh air intakes on the front of the stove. The window allows you to see the flame traveling up the body of the stove. Since it uses no electricity, heat is radiated off the 3.5in. tubing and the steel baffles on the back. Best of all, this stove offers extremely small clearances on the rear and sides making it easy to install. Impressively, since it does not use any electricity this stove is the perfect source of heat for areas that are prone to blackouts or off the grid installations

  3. What is the optimum temp. for the stove to be operating at.Thanks

    1. Optimum temperature this pellet stove should operate at is between 400 - 450 degrees, Fahrenheit. The temperature should never drop below 300 degrees Fahrenheit during operation as that would cause draft slow down impeding performance of the stove, and creosote build up which could cause flue fire.

    1. The pellet stove can be vented through the wall with a 4" diameter listed L vent pellet pipe, like regular pellet stoves.

  8. what kind of pipe needed.how far from a wall 2 set stove

    1. The stove will require a 3" pellet stove pipe item number 38840. The clearances are as follows: from the left side wall to the stove is 8", from backwall to the stove is 2", from back wall to flue is 13.5", from the sidewall to the flue is 14.5" and from the stove to the ceiling will be 36".
