  1. Can you recommend a Type 2 corner hearth pad that would meet the clearance specs for this stove?

    1. The item number 4891568 hearth pad meets the Type 2 UL1618 specifications needed. The hearth pad must extend at least 18 inches in front of the stove, at least 8 inches on the side and 2 inches from the back exhaust. It will need to be at least 13" from the clearance from each side of the nearest body. Installation instructions provided with the stove.

  3. How do you gain access to the fire box area. I do not see any handle or hinge area to open the front.

    1. Access to the firebox is located behind a panel on the right front facing side of the stove.

    1. This would not need to be inserted into a fireplace opening. It requires venting of 3" in diameter. Check with local codes and regulations for installation and ventilation requirements.

    1. After turning the stove off and allowing it to cool, remove the back panel. Then, disassemble the auger piece by piece. Disassembly is found on page 19 of the product manual located on the product webpage.
