This pellet stove can run off a battery backup. The backup should be rated at 700 watts or higher to accommodate the startup load. It must use a pure sine wave inverter and have sufficient surge capacity to handle the igniter’s startup demand. It should also be capable of recharging the battery automatically when power is restored.

The PP130 pellet stove does not come with an ash pan or tray; therefore, ash must be removed manually from the firepot. It operates on a power supply of 120 V/60 Hz, with a startup draw of 2.6 A (approximately 312 W) and a running draw of 2.3 A (approximately 276 W).

It is not recommended to burn corn in the pellet stove. Use only premium low ash wood pellets less than 1.5 inches in length.
