With up to 49,200 BTUs and a 265 cfm blower (standard), the EPA-Certified PP150 will heat up to 2,500 square feet. A large ash collection area and 150-pound hopper help provide heating convenience.   1. Can a battery backup system be used with stove if so what is the total wattage required to fully operate the stove in a power outage

    1. This pellet stove can run off a battery backup. The backup should be rated at 700 watts or higher to accommodate the startup load. It must use a pure sine wave inverter and have sufficient surge capacity to handle the igniter’s startup demand. It should also be capable of recharging the battery automatically when power is restored.

  2. How do you clean ash from burn pot?

    1. You will start by vacuuming the firepot out by using an ash vac. It is recommended to scrape the firepot using the tool provided.

  3. Can this be used on an outside patio and not have to ventilate it??

    1. The pellet stove cannot be use on an outside patio and will require venting it.

  4. I have 2 questions,  does is have an ash pot or tray.   How many watts or amps are required.

    1. The PP130 pellet stove does not come with an ash pan or tray; therefore, ash must be removed manually from the firepot. It operates on a power supply of 120 V/60 Hz, with a startup draw of 2.6 A (approximately 312 W) and a running draw of 2.3 A (approximately 276 W).

  5. Can you burn corn in this stove

    1. It is not recommended to burn corn in the pellet stove. Use only premium low ash wood pellets less than 1.5 inches in length.

    1. This pellet stove does require venting. It uses 3" or 4" pellet venting. We offer item 38840, item 6214261 and item 6214333.
