What is the hole diameter for the stub axle?
With the stub axle removed, what is the ID of the mounting hole in the suspension arm? I want to install my own axles to use with non-standard wheels and I need to know what that bore diameter is.
1 answer-
UltraTowExpert11· 10 years ago
The spindle on this torsion axle is seated in a tapered hole on the suspension arm. The front side of the hole (where the spindle comes out) is 1.489" in diameter. The rear side of the hole (the castle nut side) is 1.281" in diameter.

Mounting Bolt pattern and width
What is the mounting bolt pattern where this will bolt to the frame? In planning the trailer, how wide of mounting area will I need to bolt this axle to the frame?
