    1. This winch is not intended for use with a strap. It can hold up to 33 feet of 7/32" diameter cable or 16 feet of 5/16" diameter cable.

  2. How do you release the brake and pull the cable by hand

    1. The brake is fully automatic and the load remains in position any time the handle is released. This winch is not equipped with a neutral gear.

  3. Is turning the crank the only way to reverse the cable on the spool ? How can you pull the cable off quickly ?

    1. This is a manual hand winch which requires the user to crank the handle to wind the cable or rope. To unwind the cable or rope, it must also be done manually. Pulling the load can help speed up the process.
