The Tuxedo 4-Post Storage Lift with Electric/Hydraulic Motor features 2 HP, 1-phase, 115V, an internal adjustable ladder lock with a single-point, manual-lock release; non-skid diamond plate runways; and powder-coated steel approach. This heavy-duty unit includes poly casters, 3 drip trays and a jack/tool tray. Max rise: 82 1/4in. Time to full rise: 100 seconds. Runway dimensions: 180 1/2in.L x 18 5/8in.W. Overall: 222 1/2in.L x 109 3/8in.W x 94in.H. Item too large for lift gate. Requires forklift on site for unloading. This item is delivered by LTL enclosed van carriers Monday--Friday. A forklift is required to offload the lift from a dock-height trailer.

  2. What is the footprint and also what is the difference between the DX and the XLT?

    1. The overall dimensions of this DX-XLT model are 222-1/2in.L x 109-3/8in.W. The max rise is 82-1/4" in 100 seconds. The clearance under the runway is 78".

      The overall dimensions of the standard DX model are 207-5/16in.L x 103-1/2in.W. The max rise is 74-3/4" in 90 seconds. The clearance under the runway is 70".

  3. Would a front end loader be ok to unload? Is it delivered in one 1800 pound box or multiple lighter boxes? My FEL can only handle 1000 pounds.

    1. The lift is shipped in one package. It measures 182" L x 22" W x 41" H. The weight is 1800 pounds total. It will require a forklift to unload.

    1. The item number 71522 (model SJ-35) sliding scissor jack is recommended for this lift.

  6. Can you drive a full size car or small SUV under the lift when it is all the way up?

    1. The height under the runway is 78" and the width between the posts is 100-5/16". A car could be driven under it as long as it does not exceed those dimensions.

  7. Is the runway wide enough for a dually? About 96” with fenders. I’d put wheel width at 94” but just guessing.

    1. The width between the posts is 100 5/16". The overall width (outside the base plates) is 109 3/8".

  8. What are the recommended specs for the concrete floor?

    1. This lift is designed to be installed on a minimum of 4-1/4” thick, 3000psi, with steel reinforced concrete.

  9. Can you mount the ramps on either end.

    1. The drive on ramps are only mounted on the rear of the lift.

  10. Can you drive on the lift from either end ? Since you can’t move the motor and pump

    1. You would only be able to drive onto the lift from the one end that the ramps are attached to. It would not have ramps on both ends.
