    1. A paint booth must be UL listed explosion proof and meet NFPA 70 standards. It would not be recommended for a paint booth application.

    1. Per the manufacturer manual, this requires a 31" diameter rough in circle.

    is this fan easily sealed when installed on a corrugated metal building.

    1. You would frame in a rough opening for the mounting for this TPI fan so it can be mounted on the inside. You would use foam or caulk sealant between the rough opening and the corrugated metal for a better seal.

    1. The fan motor on the TPI Shutter-Mounted Direct Drive Exhaust Fan is totally enclosed. The rough-in opening needs to be 1/2 inch bigger than the fan blade itself, or 30-1/2 inches square.

  7. Can the shutters be removed from 255335-1113?

    1. According to the manufacturer(TPI), the shutters are not designed to be removed and they would not recommend using the exhaust fan without them.
